Dr. Joshua Texley is an Associate Chiropractor at Compass Chiropractic, where he is dedicated to providing individualized, evidence-informed care that empowers patients to take an active role in their healing. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Marquette University and earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic (D.C.) from Palmer College of Chiropractic with hands-on clinical training that included serving our nation’s veterans at the VA hospital in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. There, he collaborated with the pain management and rehabilitation teams to deliver personalized, goal oriented care. He later expanded his experience at the Center for Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy in Tallahassee, Florida.
At Compass Chiropractic, Dr. Texley provides comprehensive care that includes chiropractic adjustments, diagnostics, care plans, and soft tissue assessment. He is trained in the McKenzie Method which is a movement-based assessment system for all joints of the body and utilizes techniques such as Neurokinetic Therapy (NKT) and Active Release Technique (ART) to address muscular imbalances and optimize movement.
Dr. Texley believes in equipping patients with the knowledge and tools to maintain their progress outside the clinic. “My goal is to help patients help themselves,” he says. “When they understand how their body works and how to care for it, real healing begins.”
Outside of the office, Dr. Texley leads a local run club with two close friends, and enjoys running, rock climbing, weightlifting, hiking, photography, and volleyball. His guiding values are honesty, empathy, hard work, and a commitment to clinical excellence. His colleagues describe him as straightforward, knowledgeable, and deeply dedicated to his work.
Dr. Texley is inspired by the quote, “If not you, then who?”—a reminder that both patient and provider share responsibility in the healing journey. If you’re looking for a chiropractor who’s equally invested in your recovery and your future wellness, Dr. Texley is ready to help you take that first step.
